Ital in Paradise

Wherever you travel, you find that every culture and religion has its own beliefs about the food we eat. The Ital diet focuses on consuming fish, whole grains, vegetables, beans, and legumes. Rastafarians follow the Ital diet.

Ital in Paradise Restaurant Sign

You must keep your eyes up to the sky to find this restaurant and its sign. Between two building there are about 10 narrow steps that lead to the very small restaurant. Inside are 4 glass top picnic tables that seat 4. On the menu you will find a fish dinner plate, a vegetarian dinner plate, and several choices of sandwiches. The dinner plates change daily. The plates run around $18 and the sandwiches are around $11. We both had sandwiches. They were very full of vegetables and delicious, but fell apart easily. We asked for a fork and enjoyed out lunch (and dinner). All their drinks are homemade with unusual berries and herbs.
