We went to Ace Roti Shop to have "doubles".
Our first taste of doubles was when we were in Trinidad in 2014. They are a flat, soft fried bread filled with curried chick peas, usually eaten for breakfast.
The lady at Ace Roti Shop is from Trinidad! In Trinidad they were about 60 cents each. In St. Croix, they were 3 for $6!
